What We Cover

Managed Print Service is a complete outsourcing arrangement in which MicroKernel deploys, manages, and maintains your entire printing infrastructure. Rather than purchasing devices outright and managing all the operational complexity internally, your organization pays a structured service fee that covers everything, from the MFPs and consumables to onsite servicing, remote monitoring, and Cloud print management software solutions (CPMS)

MPS is not just about printers. It is about giving you visibility, control, and efficiency across your entire document output, from the moment a file is sent to print until it is collected at the machine.

How It Works

MicroKernel provides maintenance and technical support for all major office equipment we supply. Our service scope includes:

  • Multi-Functional Printers (MFPs)- monochrome and colour, brands and models we supply ( Kyocera , Hp and Sharp).
  • Document shredders – all commercial and industrial models.
  • HP printers and peripherals.
  • ID card printing systems.

Types of Service

Preventive Maintenance. Scheduled visits by our engineers to clean, calibrate, lubricate, and inspect your equipment before problems occur. Regular preventive maintenance extends equipment life significantly, reduces the frequency of breakdowns, and keeps output quality consistently high.

Corrective Maintenance (Repairs). When equipment breaks down, our engineers diagnose and repair the fault using genuine OEM parts. We maintain a parts inventory for all equipment we support, minimising the time between your call and the resolution of your issue.

On-Site Support. Our field engineers are deployed regionally across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, providing in-person support at your premises for issues that cannot be resolved remotely.

Remote Support. For software, connectivity, and configuration issues, our technical team provides online support during business hours – resolving many issues without the need for a site visit.

Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC). For organisations that want full cost certainty and priority service, our AMC covers all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for a fixed annual fee. AMC clients receive priority response times and no additional charges for engineer callouts throughout the contract year. This is the most popular support arrangement for our long-term corporate clients.

Genuine OEM Parts & Consumables

One of the most common causes of recurring equipment problems is the use of non-genuine parts and consumables. MicroKernel stocks genuine OEM spare parts and consumables for all major brands we service. Using genuine parts protects your OEM warranty, maintains output quality, and prevents the equipment damage that counterfeit or substandard parts cause over time.

Operator Training

MicroKernel provides operator training for your staff, ensuring your team uses equipment correctly, avoids common errors that lead to unnecessary breakdowns, and gets the full benefit of every feature your devices offer. Training is available on-site as part of a new installation or as a standalone session for existing users.
